A fecal suction truck consists of components like a liquid tank, vacuum pump, water-gas separator, four-way valve, etc., forming a complete vacuum system. When the vacuum pump operates, it gets power from the gearbox's power take-off. The eccentric rotation of blades inside the rotating core removes air from the liquid tank, creating negative pressure to suck liquid in using the pressure difference between the atmosphere and the tank.
During operation, the humid air in the tank first goes to the water-gas separator for water separation. Then the gas reaches the vacuum pump's inlet via the four-way valve, mixes with oil in the pump, and is ejected. After separation by a coarse and a fine filter, the gas is released. Once vacuum is formed, sewage is drawn in. To discharge, the four-way valve changes the airflow direction, and the pump forces air in to push the liquid out, with other parts working as in suction.
